SkillForgeVR is an AI-driven VR training platform designed to reimagine how learners acquire vocational and technical skills. The project was developed as part of the IEEE Metaverse Competition, addressing the challenges of complex UIs, outdated tools, static content, and limited access to real workshops in TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training), especially across Nigeria and other regions.

Impact

SkillForgeVR democratizes access to skill training by offering safe, affordable, and scalable immersive environments. it significantly reduces the time to training as trainee spends less time learning complex UIs and interact naturally and realistically. It equips learners with real-world competencies without requiring expensive labs or equipment, making technical education inclusive and globally scalable.

Contribution

I led the design and development of the prototype, building the VR workshop flow, AI tutor interactions, and gamification logic. The demo was showcased as part of the IEEE Metaverse Competition to highlight the potential of immersive, AI-driven education platforms. This project won us the first place position.
