This project combines two innovative uses of product visualization and virtual reality to enhance both client engagement and internal planning at Innovate Tech Hub.
VR Product Showcase for IFair
As part of the IFair program, a six-month hackathon designed to help entrepreneurs bring their products from concept to MVP, we created a VR application to showcase participants' products. This application allowed users to explore different projects through a VR environment, featuring a virtual lobby with portals to each product. Using hand-tracking technology, users could interact with the environment without the need for controllers, providing an immersive and intuitive experience. This VR showcase was a highlight of the exhibition, offering visitors a unique way to experience the innovative products developed during IFair.
VR Lab Walkthrough for Internal Planning
In addition to the IFair showcase, we also utilized VR for internal planning at Innovate Tech Hub. As part of a renovation project for our simulation lab, we designed new furniture and reimagined the space using VR visualizations. This virtual walkthrough allowed us to present a clear and detailed plan to management, ensuring that the final layout would meet our needs for increased capacity and improved functionality. The final implementation closely mirrored the VR design, demonstrating the power of virtual planning in real-world applications.
Conclusion
These projects highlight how VR and product visualization can be leveraged not only for external showcases but also for internal development and planning. By immersing users in a virtual environment, we were able to enhance understanding, engagement, and decision-making processes.
